The antique dealer is a regulated professional who sells ancient items generally over a hundred years old, with expertise and authenticity guarantee — often specialized in a period (Louis XV, Art Deco) or category. The second-hand dealer sells second-hand items without necessarily formal expertise; prices are more accessible and negotiation more common. The charity shop or Emmaus adds a social and ecological mission: collects, repairs and resells at low prices. On OuChiner, each address is classified by type to help you choose based on budget.
