Traveling, experiencing and transmitting antiquity in Europe. The exhibition looks back at the "Grand Tour," an educational journey undertaken from the 16th to the 18th century by young aristocrats and artists. Through old prints and contemporary works, it tells of their discovery of Europe, its ruins, landscapes and monuments, foreshadowing the beginnings of modern tourism.
